The beds were all tossed, towels all over the bathroom floor, to of bottles and garbage on the counter. Lucky for me, my wife speaks Japanese and we were able to read the management company which resettled us in the same unit on the 2nd floor within about 15 minutes. If you didn't speak Japanese (which I don't) and arrived there, it would have been a moment of panic for sure. We were told that we would get confirmation of the rebooking into the new room, but it never came. We simply stayed the night and checked out the next day as planned.
