"Property was extremely clean. The room had some minor issues like the bathroom sinks weren’t properly vented so it smelled like sewage when you ran the water. There was definitely some patchwork done on the walls. The TV in the bedroom did not have any channels and for some reason the AC unit and the bedroom did not get as cool as the AC unit in the living room, but there was a ceiling fan so we survived. The staff was extremely friendly. We did not use any of the pools, but they looked beautiful. The restaurants were mediocre so we mostly off property. The private beach was nice however there was a lot of seaweed. I would highly recommend making the trip to Savvy On the Bay if you want calm, clear water with no seaweed."
Little Arches Boutique Hotel Barbados - Adults only
10/10 Excellent
"The staff at this hotel are the highlight! Everyone was so kind and attentive. Hotel is small but lovely with a great restaurant. It’s a bit of a drive to get to Bridgetown or other areas to eat/walk around, outside of Oistins (which is open outside of Friday Night Fish Fry, but in my experience was very quiet)."
"Reception was terrible they never explained anything about the resort tell us about our VIP check in and the perks. Concierge Chantal was amazing! The other staff were amazing except one at The Village Coffee shop didn’t let me have 1/2 of one flavor and 1/2 of the other flavor was rude.. The bed was like a rock and pillows horrible they needed to upgraded and get new mattress and pillows.. The food at the resort was super expensive ridiculous as was the coffee and the Village Cafe… It was worse than being in Paris or Monaco… We won’t be back too expensive of an island.."
Wyndham Grand Barbados Sam Lords Castle All Inclusive Resort
8/10 Good
"It was a great experience. The staff were great and very helpful. I didn’t like all the cats roaming around on property, but other than that, I had a blast!"
Sea Breeze Beach House by Ocean Hotels - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"If you are older (60+), family with a small child, or burnt out and need a quiet no frills getaway- this is the spot. If you’ve looking for day parties and a turn up crowd- this ain’t the place.
You can see the property is “seasoned” and the staff is fairly nice. I will also say - beware of going at this time of the year if you’re a beach lover - there is a big seasonal seaweed problem that happens every year and it makes the water unusable. You have to take a taxi to a beach up the west side of the island to see their white sand and clear waters."
