"We had an excellent stay and the staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities are very nice in general. Perhaps some things like the bathrooms looking a little dated but nothing major. "
"Teresa the host went out of her way to be helpful, even driving to find us when we couldn't fine the lovely apartment. I would give 11 out of 10 as a review. Definitely go there. The Powder Keg restaurant and pub is easily walkable!
Thanks

"Really nice hosts! This is a bit of a hidden gem, the name may suggest more of a summer vibe but this is a great spot for a winter weekend mission to the mountain. They don’t have many rooms which is kinda nice as is keeps things pretty quiet. Heaps of parking space close to the rooms and the spa was great after a day on the mountain.
Simple, very clean and well priced with great host! Not much more you could ask for. "
"We were upgraded from a 2 bedroom to a 5 bedroom (we still only used 2 bedrooms) but had a nice large house with a fireplace. Loved coming in from the snow to a cosy house. "
"A nice spot to stay if your in Ohakune, mid-way between a hostel and a hotel. Can be a little noisy but very comfortable and generally clean, depending on how busy it is and the time of day. Good price."
