![New Zelands most active cone volcano and one of the few active marine volcano that you can tour! A once in a lifetime experience but a tip for those who get sea sick, take something before the boat trip out there! The boat slowed down about half way out and it got a buy rocky but we got to see many dolphins so it was very cool! "A well appointed convenient and comfortable loft with fantastic views. Very pleasant and quiet in the late afternoon and evening. We were dismayed at the level of evasive noise including music and clearly audible conversation from the cafe below beginning around 7.20am until the end of the day. Jos did address the loud music in the early hours but still a lot of noise coming from below. Descent sound installation would help. If you are not bothered by noise then a great place to stay"

"The room was terrible. My bed head was against the wall that was on the main road, room was so noisy, no curtains on the skylights and might as well have been none on the windows. I could read my book at 2am with the lights off (which was help full because the room was so noisy and bright i couldn't sleep!). Pleased i was only there for one night. Wont be back."
