This lodge is a little gem and I’m so glad I stayed! The owner communicated well and was flexible with breakfast so that I could leave early for my diving expedition. The room I stayed in was beautiful and had a real home-like feel. It was very clean. I absolutely loved staying here!

Beautiful relaxing location, large spacious well appointed room, Andy the host was so welcoming and helpful with both areas to visit and restaurants to eat at. Breakfast cooked by Andy was delicious and nutritious. We are,already looking forward to planning our return visit and bring friends to experience this gorgeous Lodge and the wonderful offerings,in Whangarei.

This is our second time staying at Lupton Lodge. Very nice place with an amazing breakfast. Great atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Great accommodation, host was a very accomplished chef. We had dinner 2 nights in our patio. What a treat. Loved our room and breakfasts as well. Would highly recommend Lupton Lodge to anyone staying in the area.

Our stay was superb!! Andy was very friendly and helpful. The property aand our room were beautiful. We loved it here and would highly recommend it. We will stay again next time we are in the area. Loved petting the sweet horses

Friendly welcome and room was spacious and comfortable. Set in park like grounds, but only a short distance from Whangarei city. Would stay again.

Great place to stay if travelling around NZ. Good location if you want to do the tutukaka coast which we would highly recommend. Andy was a great host with plenty of local knowledge and recommendations and did an excellent breakfast
