![New Zelands most active cone volcano and one of the few active marine volcano that you can tour! A once in a lifetime experience but a tip for those who get sea sick, take something before the boat trip out there! The boat slowed down about half way out and it got a buy rocky but we got to see many dolphins so it was very cool! "A bit disappointing. Not worth 569 for 2 nights. The bed was comfy & warm. the lights, hot water & gas cooker were great. Both phone & data do work there.The concept was orsom. Some improvements we think would help are ...... The access gate & driveway faces the wrong way. The bath/ shower mixer is broken. The doors have up to a 2" gap at the top. The fire's flue kept blowing off. The BBQ was filthy with no BBQ tools. Some old news papers to light the fire would help. More photos showing that...

"The room was terrible. My bed head was against the wall that was on the main road, room was so noisy, no curtains on the skylights and might as well have been none on the windows. I could read my book at 2am with the lights off (which was help full because the room was so noisy and bright i couldn't sleep!). Pleased i was only there for one night. Wont be back."

"I had stayed here for three nights two weeks prior and was pretty good. However, this stay was unfortunately terrible and won't book with Tasman again. I was a late check-in and had a booking for 5 nights. Each day my car park was taken because the staff did not check me in. I went every day to the desk and they didn't mention it at all until one of the nicer female staff found out on day 4 that no one checked me in and fixed it. By then it was too late. My room didn't get serviced at all due to their error, room was unclean when arriving with cobwebs across the walls. Bed made terribly and sheets always came out due to how it was made and the sheets used. "

"Great accommodation. We stayed in the cabin kitchen which had everything we needed. The beach could be seen from the cabin from the bedroom and the veranda. The toilet and shower was literally next door to the cabin. Fabulous campsite for all. Would highly recommend 👌 🙂"
