Welcome to your own private universe for two overlooking a stunning waterfall set in its own natural amphitheatre. A romantic oasis where you can escape it all, relax and read in the speckled sunlight, listen to music or just enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the waterfall. And if you like retro treasures, there’s Lord Alfred’s Antiques literally just outside your door. A minute or two down the road, Matakana's famous vineyards, farmer's market, sculpture trails and beautiful beaches await.

On a rainy day, to relax inside with that beautiful setting and noise from the waterfall all night was absolute bliss. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely book again!

Magically relaxing

The sound and sight of the waterfall provide a relaxing backdrop to this comfortable, well appointed bach. It's secluded but within easy reach of town and tourist facilities. We loved our short stay.

Enjoyed our stay.

The room was kept well, a little dated but what we expected from the pictures, so not disappointed. The waterfall was beautiful and soothing to listen to. The outside courtyard could possibly do with a littleTLC but still adequate, and overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Absolutely loved our stay. It really felt like escaping into a little private haven. To fall asleep to the sound of the waterfall and wake up to the sound of fantails was lovely. Really comfy bed, great shower and the place had everything we needed. Would love to come back. Thank you.
