Cozy 2-bedroom house on Lake Keowee with private dock

"This is a new cottage and it shows! Lovely inside and out with a good view of the water. Nice deck with seating/dining options. Fire pit is in between the cottage above and pier below. There is an incline to the cottage from the lake (like many of the properties on Lake Keowee), but it has a concrete path which makes the walk easier. My husband went swimming off the pier that had retractable steps, so easy in/out. They had SUPs, kayak, a 2 person paddle boat, a huge floating tube/trampoline, and 2 floating dog ramps for taking your pups for a swim (the property is dog friendly). The bed downstairs was softer than the bed upstairs (memory foam?) for different sleeping options. I was in the downstairs bed and it was comfortable for me. My husband slept well in the upstairs bed. Both bedrooms had ensuite with enough hot water for both of us. We didnt cook, but the kitchen seemed to be very well equipped. Had both Keurig and coffeemaker and even to-go cups! AC worked great throughout. Excellent location for waterfall hikes in the area, or a cruise on Lake Jocassee from Devil's Fork, and easy 10-15 minutes into Walhalla for shopping and dining. The hill driving in is steep up and down the other side to the cottage parking spot, but our medium size SUV did just fine. Excellent communication with the host, Bonita, and prompt response. Looking forward to returning in the spring!"

"Everything was well. Certainly ran by a family. Bfast can be a bit better. The bathroom in my room needs some assistance. But NO bugs. NO sketchy ppls walking around. The entire time I was there it was SO quiet. Very grateful for that. It's literally a "Road-way Inn". A place to crash, lay your head, and be safe, then move on with life. Also, I appreciate the price, certainly the cheapest in the surrounding area."

"We truly enjoyed our stay at this rental. The views were spectacular, the space was great for 10 people. The home was just beautiful and the location was fabulous. The walk down to the private boat dock was a little steep, but having a beautiful private dock was awesome. I recommend maybe adding another couch upstairs (seating was only enough for 5 comfortably) and some side tables next to the couches. The beds were very comfortable. The family loved all of the games in the house. Maybe some extra seating downstairs by the pool table too."

"The house was perfect for our group for our golf trip. We had one minor issue and we were able to speak to the host and they had someone to correct it quickly so that it didn’t disrupt our trip in any way. Place was clean, peaceful, with great hosts."

"This home was perfect for our family of 8 adults! There was multiple sitting areas inside and outside where we could easily gather. The kitchen had everything we needed! The queen and king beds were super comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean! It is in the country so be prepared for bugs outside but on a beautiful day the porch and firepit were true treasures! Yossi was responsive to the fee messages I needed to send. We would definitely love the chance to stay here again!"
