Rooftop Seabreeze - G308 at North Coast Village Welcome to Rooftop Seabreeze, a penthouse condominium which features great ocean and harbor views from the primary bedroom and balcony so you can watch the waves and sailboats in the morning without getting out of bed! The primary bedroom occupies the entire second level (4th floor), with no one above you, and offers a comfy pillow-top king size bed. Relax at the large bar-height table that seats six, and view the surfers as they ride the waves at the popular San Luis Rey River jetty surf-break. Or enjoy a glass of wine, as you watch the sunset over the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Downstairs, the inviting living area is beautifully and comfortably furnished with a new sofa and loveseat, and features a cozy fireplace and large 4K smart TV. It opens to a garden-view balcony which extends to the downstairs bedroom. The condo has also been refurbished with a new dining set that seats six, area rugs, new linens, towels, quilts, and light-blocking drapes. The large downstairs bedroom has two comfortable queen-size beds. Both bedrooms have private baths. There are large LCD TVs in both bedrooms. Make My Vacation also provides all linens and towels, beach chairs and beach towels. The Living Room TV is provided for your entertainment, as well as free wireless Internet. There is one reserved parking space in the parking garage, and an elevator in the building takes you conveniently from the parking garage to the condo. There are additional 24-hr unreserved parking spaces within the complex, if you have two cars. As you walk through the staffed secure gate to oceanfront North Coast Village, you are transported to a tropical oasis reminiscent of the Costa Rican Rain Forest. Running streams, waterfalls, lush foliage, and Koi meander through the spacious grounds of this resort-like beachfront condominium complex in Oceanside California. You will notice the crystal clear heated pool and spa, gleaming barbecues, convenient picnic tables, and sand rinsing stations to remove the lingering beach. If you need a break from sun and surf, you might enjoy a game of pool, a jog on a treadmill in the newly renovated exercise rooms, a little ping pong, or a sauna. Feeding our giant Koi is a simple pleasure not to be missed during your Oceanside visit. When you venture through the back gates, you find yourself on one of North San Diego County’s finest beaches: broad and flat with volleyball, and great surf breaks - right out back! Beach towels and chairs are provided with the condo. To the north, you can walk or bike to Oceanside’s busy little harbor for a bite to eat or some boating, and to the south, you can venture down the strand to southern California’s longest pier for some fishing (no license needed). North Coast Village is close enough to walk to everything near the beach, so your car can stay in its secure underground parking spot - especially useful when beach parking becomes a premium in the summer. Parties or events are not allowed at this property. The Mainstreet Oceanside Farmer's Market is a delightful experience near the Pier which takes place every Thursday from 9-1. Plus: excellent roof top view. Minus: lugging our suitcases and walking up four flights of stairs the entire stay because the elevators were not functioning. Plus: being reassured that any water shut-offs required 24 hour written notice. Minus: no notice for a 3 hour water shut off during the first half of the day, which meant my family went un-showered for 36 hours. We came to celebrate a birthday but for the amount of money we paid for this unit, we expected a better experience from the property.
