« This property was so peaceful and quiet. It sits on a large lot with lots of privacy. The walk down to the dock is fun for kids, lots of rocks and it’s a little trail. We spent most of our time down at the dock. The views were spectacular, beautiful reflections in the water each morning, calm quiet lake and the sunset right in front of us each night. « We had the best time. This camp is what you expect a lake camp to be - homey and extremely spacious. The loft was a fun treat for the two boys. « This was such a fun experience. My husband and I had a road trip up the east coast. We aren't big campers and this was a great way to get a bit more of a rustic experience without a tent. But yes, you take a canoe to the island. It takes 5 minutes. No electricity, so be prepared for a camp stove and electric lanterns. Loons added a lovely evening sound track. « Our experience at this cottage was extremely disappointing. After driving for 4 hours, we had to clean for two hours before unpacking to make it a bit more acceptable. Where do I begin, the cottage was very dirty and so are the pots and pans left there to be used by the guests. The kettle on the stove was filled with dirty rusty water, the cast iron pans were greasy and dirty, the table, chairs and wall behind the stove were very sticky. « Fantastic location, fantastic space, every accommodation I could have asked for. Including firewood, grill , and of course the separated bungalow for just the 2 of us. We brought our own chairs and grill not know what we would be finding. Turns out having the flat top came in handy, But completely unnecessary. Even provided 2 backup propane tanks. »

« Our family traveled to the area for a last minute swim meet. Having not made plans to be traveling, we were unsure of what options we'd have - but the cabin was perfect for a last minute overnight stay. We all slept well, and were able to enjoy the cabin for the brief time we were there. Significantly more space, and much more affordable, than hotel options in the area the same night. A great find and fit for us! »
