Love this location and the cabin is really cute! It has a relaxed feel. The only negative was the bed. The bed was really bad. It either needs to be replaced or a topper added.
We had the cabin down by the river. The beds were very comfortable. The road is a little bit narrow and hard to turn around at the bottom, but we made it a food in the restaurant is very good.
A wonderful little hotel — cozy, welcoming, and full of charm. The rooms open onto a small, almost private courtyard where you can sit with a glass of wine in the evening or enjoy breakfast in the morning if you bring your own.
In the evening, the restaurant is open, with lovely tables set under shady trees, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, clean, beautifully furnished, and comfortable.
The main drawback is the entrance from the street, which is honestly quite unattractive. You drive in between what look like sheds and storage buildings, and it creates a very poor first impression. I actually think the hotel may be underrated because photos of the entrance do not do the property justice. Once you are inside, however, it feels like a completely different place — quiet, charming, comfortable, and very pleasant.
Absolutely love this inn and it’s intimate. It has a vibe like no other ! On Saturdays they get down at the bar area with live music , friendly people. The restaurant on property is absolutely superb. Loved every moment of this day will 100% be back in the future
When we arrived we had rented a cabin, there was no parking. We were supposed to carry food, luggage up a steep hill. We are old and nothing was ever told about the parking situation. Luckily we were able to change rooms. I also think we were over charged for the room. There is no staff after 1 in the afternoon. The new room was great. I think we were the only ones on the property.
Confusing turn into the site (at night) and unclear if there was enough space for 2-way traffic. Arrived to a loud concert that led to full parking spaces in front of lodging, and concert lasted until nearly 11 pm. There was a set of unmarked and unlocked doors connecting adjacent rooms, and we weren't able to lock them. Bathroom could have been cleaner and there was no convenient place to hang or store bath towels. Bed pillows were not very comfortable. Staff weren't present in office at checkout time (11 am).
Our room needed updating a bit…. Showed signs of wear….nothing serious, but rug was worn, stuffed chair was awful…. You sat down and couldn’t get up, it was so low to the floor… light over bathroom sink didn’t work…. Just needed a little attention. Had minimal contact with owners…
My only slight complaint is that it's a little tough to find the property from the road (it's behind another property, and next to another driveway that looks the same); especially if you arrive for the first time after dark, like we did. Otherwise, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable, with a lot of great amenities. The restaurant is a little pricey; but the food is outstanding, with an excellent wine selection. And the staff for both was wonderful. It's only a 25 minute drive to the Yosemite South Entrance (winding mountain road, but pretty scenic). And Oakhurst is a really nice little town, lots of convenient shopping and dining. A great place to stay when visiting the park; without the crowds you have to deal with in the valley.
This was one of the cleanest rooms I have seen. Misty and Ana literally went out of their way to make accommodate us. I accidently book for the wrong day after having my cabin in Yosemite was cancelled due to mice. They were very companionate to my situation and stopped making dinner to help us have somewhere to lay our heads. This is not the newest place in town but defiantly the cleanest and friendliest.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
We will not be returning. The front desk is only open for a few hours in the morning and before our stay started we called multiple times and never got an answer. Once we were turning in for the night we pulled the linens back to find a dead bug smeared into the sheets as well as random small stains scattered around. Once we called the after hours number someone came and told us “welcome to the country folks” and was very condescending. The room was also insanely dusty and an allergy nightmare. We have pictures of the very clearly poorly maintained room as well as more detailed videos. We travel to places like this all the time and have truly never been told that dead bugs in the bed are normal. What a shame because the property itself was cute. Getting into the property from the road is also sort of difficult when there’s lots of cars and I’d you’re staying here hoping to be close to Yosemite it is a lot further than you think. We got married last week and this was supposed to be a small vacation before our bigger honeymoon and we are severely disappointed. I’ll stay at the collection of chain hotels next time who don’t think this level of “cleanliness” is acceptable.
It was a lovely property. But I wish I would have paid attention to their website where hours are stated for attached wine bar and restaurant. We stayed sun-wed the days the restaurant and wine bar Are Not open. Other than that, it was great.
We were there during the week when there's less activities. Very quiet. Easy in and out. Close to all kinds of good restaurants and bars. Only 8-10 miles from the Southern entrance to Yosemite made it a perfect location.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was well appointed and very clean. We brought our dog. They put out a food and water bowl on a mat and a blanket to lay on. Nice grounds with a lot of seating area. Near the river. The associated restaurant was very good with very friendly and helpful staff. They are also dog friendly.
We had a good stay overall. The best thing about this place is the location and how close it is to Yosemite and numerous food options. It was clean and the bed was comfortable (although very creaky). The shower had great water pressure and hot water.
A couple of notes: the walls are thin so we could hear the dog barking next door our first night. The restaurant on site is incredibly expensive— we were very interested in eating there until we saw the prices. The office hours are 8 to noon (not sure if this is winter only) so we had to go to the wine bar for towels since we were in Yosemite during that time.
Overall we would definitely stay there again.
