Looking for a short or long-term vacation spot? Take a look at the Turtle Nest condo located in Oak Island's Ocean Walk community. Make your way to this top-floor unit by elevator and step into a spacious coastal oasis. The open-concept condo includes 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. There are distant ocean views from the living area, street-side bedroom and covered balcony. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for food prep and storage including all major appliances, microwave, coffee station, tea kettle, blender, mixer and toaster oven. There is bar seating for three and table seating for four. Flat screen cable-ready TVs are in the living room and all bedrooms, as well as high-speed internet access (including secure network access). The condo comes with a stackable washer/dryer as well as detergent. Access to the beach is one block away. Beach chairs, boogie boards, pool noodles and a few beach toys are stored in our personal container for your use. There is a small rolling cart for taking toys to the beach. Enjoy the large pool with lounge chairs, tables with umbrellas, restrooms with showers and grilling area (bring your own charcoal). Outdoor showers and hoses are located throughout the complex for rinsing off. Linens and bath towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. Starter paper products, dish/laundry detergent/sponge, dish towels, cleaning supplies, hand soap, washing machine detergent, shampoo/conditioner, body wash and coffee/filters will be in your condo upon arrival. The complex is adjacent to the business district. So park your car and walk to great restaurants, beach shops, boutiques, ice cream parlors, candy store/arcade and grocery stores. Within a short drive are two piers for fishing, dining and strolling; boat ramp; kayak access points; putt-putt and beautiful marsh walkovers. Rent paddleboards, kayaks and bikes through a number of rental companies. There is room to secure bikes in your parking space. There are also electrical outlets in the parking area if you want to rent a golf cart. Middleton Park is nine blocks from the condo with outdoor summer and fall concerts, craft fairs, festivals, Farmer's Market, athletic events, tennis/pickleball courts, skateboard park, kiddy splash pad and playground. The Point at the island's west end offers great fishing, shelling and beautiful sunsets. The island is also conveniently located to golf courses; charming Southport with wonderful boutiques, restaurants and water views; the Fort Fisher Ferry and the Fort Fisher Aquarium. Wilmington, with its beautiful downtown river walk, is 45 minutes away, while North Myrtle Beach is a one-hour drive. NO PETS OR SMOKING ALLOWED. Starter supplies of soaps, tissues, detergent, coffee, filters was so nice. The condo is located close to restaurants, shops and, most importantly, the beach. The covered parking was awesome as the temp was in the 90's and the proximity to the elevator made it very easy for my elderly mother. It was a one block walk/drive to the beach. We drove because of my mother. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there.. Would love to go back for another long weekend with my husband soon. ##### Beth G. The condo was well stocked with everything as indicated, and we needed to ad very little. Perfect for 4-6, although we were just a family of 4\. Beach was a short walk and never crowded. Pool every afternoon late, just to wind down. Highly recommend this unit. Go see the lighthouse and then see how fast you can build the lighthouse puzzle!! Be patient when going out to eat, as all the restaurants are short staffed. food was always good! ##### Mark M.
