"The hostess was slightly rude and then gave us the furthest room on the lowest floor where our patio was a 3’x3’ underground cubby covered in spider webs. Our remote control was so sticky it was as if it were covered in duct tape on a hot day and then the duct tape were removed leaving a stickiness you cannot get off. The pool was nice."

"The hotel has clean rooms, plenty of parking, and friendly staff. The rooms are convenient and basic, but the building and lobby could use some TLC. We didn't try the restaurant, in part, because it did not seem inviting. However, my biggest issue with the hotel was the pet policy. The hotel allows dogs for a fee, but the policy seems hostile. The dog can't walk on the premises, can't be left in the room, or be on the patio area, which was another reason we couldn't even enjoy a drink outside. We have travelled with our dog for 10 years and have never had a complaint. Some hotels--including very high-end ones-- have given our dog bowls, treats, and toys. This hotel made it hard for us to enjoy our trip. We couldn't even go out to dinner and had to eat takeout the whole time. I understand that they have had bad experiences with some dog owners, but don't punish everyone. Also, explain your pet policy on your website, so dog owners know what militant restrictions they are signing up for ahead of time."

"This newly renovated property was perfect for our long weekend getaway to Steamboat. The 2 bedroom suite had plenty of room for 4 adults and one dog. The suite was very clean and the kitchen had the basics for putting some simple meals together. We appreciated the refillable water bottles and refilling station in the lobby to ensure the whole family stayed hydrated. Communication through the booking site we used and the property did not work, however we were able to resolve our needs in person at check in."

"Waited 20 minutes for someone to arrive and check me in. The room smelled like a gym locker. There was trash in the room from the previous guest. The air conditioner worked, but sounded like a jet engine. By 8am, all of the hot food at the breakfast was gone and not replaced. All breakfast was shut down by 9am. The property is pretty beat up. Pool amenities were at another hotel next door—not convenient. I travel regularly for work and stay at hotels across the country and thus was, by far, the worst hotel experience I’ve ever endured."

"Very clean and charming hotel."

"The hotel property is decent but aging. One of the dual sinks in my room’s bathroom was completely separated from its undermount. Air conditioning struggled to cool the room. The lighting on the appliances and outlets was very bright at night and no way to turn those off to get a dark room. The window blinds were broken and would only close 3/4 of the way. After checkout I was charged for poolside bistro purchases I didn’t make. Still waiting to get those charges reversed. I tried to eat at the onsite restaurant (Crooked Antler) and it was absolutely terrible (seriously DO NOT eat there). And when I checked in I thought I had paid an “all fees included” price only to find I was also REQUIRED to pay for parking at a minimum additional $25 per night. If it’s not optional that should be in the “all fees included” price. Lastly the front desk staff was just not engaging or friendly. I was supposed to stay two nights but the hotel was not enjoyable so I left after the first night. Won’t be going back."
