Actually your issues were addressed, the towels were right out of the dryer, the fridge was on a defrost cycle because the previous guests for 4 days actually turned the fridge up full and it was frozen, hence the water and the mirror was actually bought that way for the look. We are sorry to hear you felt this way about the room. We wish you would have contacted us with your concerns as soon as you noticed the things you were unhappy about rather than staying in the room for 4 hours and then leaving. We take great care in cleaning each of our 3 units, especially during the current pandemic, and have never had a complaint about the state of cleanliness of our rooms in the 7 years we've been in business. Cleanliness is our top priority, and always has been. This dedication to cleanliness is often mentioned in the reviews we receive. Regarding the shower-head, as much as we try to soften our water, Tobermory is known for having hard water. The appearance of calcification on the shower head is not a result of dirtiness, it's a result of having hard water. We will be sure to de-calcify the shower-head more frequently in the future. As for the marks on the corner of the box spring, we purchased both box springs and mattresses this summer. We originally had them in a different rental property, and when my husband was moving them into the current one, the corners hit the ground outside. We tried to get the marks out as best we could, but we could not get them out completely. Given that the box springs were quite expensive, we could not justify the purchase of new box springs for such small marks on the corners. Had you contacted us about these concerns while you were still there, we would have done our best to rectify the situation at that time.

The mad trappers cabin is designed as a rustic cabin from its log bed to the decor of old days gone by. It is not a high tech place but one that sits behind the cottage surrounded with trees and rock and a fire pit. Most guests say That after living in the city it’s just perfect for kicking back and relaxing. No tv, even though there is a small one with just movies, guests say it’s just nice to get away in a simple cabin. It’s not a studio, it’s a cabin as advertised
