"I had a very nice stay here. The hotel and my room were clean and comfortable, and I felt safe throughout my stay. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was good with a nice selection. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would stay here again."

"What a gem! If you drive by you might not give it a second thought. This was once an old roadside motel that has been lovingly updated by some young folks who knew what they are doing. Super clean and everything is pretty simple in the rooms, but when you need a place to stay for just a few days, this was perfect. Nicest folks you would ever meet! There was a great brewery/restaurant next door, West Passage Brewery, and the food was great for both dinner and brunch (if you are there on the weekends). The hotel owner has networked with other small business owners, so we received a discount at the brewery and free coffee from a little coffee shop down the street. This hotel was one of the closest to the Rhode Island Ferry so that was a plus as well. Next time we decide to visit a couple of the old Victorian mansions at Newport or check out the sailing activities, definitely staying here."

"Reserved the hotel to attend the Newport Boat Show, and the location truly was perfect, within easy walking distance to the events, restaurants, and everything happening in town. Unfortunately, the room itself felt dated and definitely needs an upgrade for the price they charge. Also, be careful with parking. We arrived early knowing our room wouldn’t be ready, but were hit with an extra $50 fee on top of the $35 parking charge simply because we pulled in at 11 AM instead of 2 PM. There were plenty of open spots, so it wasn’t a capacity issue. When I questioned it, the front desk suggested finding street parking and returning at 2 PM, not exactly helpful when thousands of people are flooding Newport. Just be aware of the timing, or you’ll be surprised by extra fees."
