Yet for this particular hotel, even after mentioning to staff on the Expedia app of my arrival time (3/3:30 PM IST), I still had to wait till after 4 PM and even then a room wasn’t ready.
I have never once in my life heard of people staying in their rooms on the day of checkout till 4 PM (1 full hour after normal check in time). Again, this was after clearly mentioning my arrival time. Evidently there wasn’t a single room in the entire hotel that could be made available.
Very strange, and very unbecoming of the brand."
