"Staff was welcoming upon arrival, the room was clean, beds comfortable. The room had plenty of storage areas, TV was a snap to work (which can't be said of many places!) and did I mention the bed was comfortable :) The coffee maker was easy to use. Bathroom amenities were great and loved the soft close toilet! Loved the size of the mini fridge in the room...usually don't get one that big and it was useful to us. Didn't get to the lounge this trip, but saw plenty of people who looked they were having a good time! We didn't know The Dexter existed and we are very happy that we found this gem!"

"We had a wonderful stay and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The location was fantastic, with beautiful water views right from the property. The house was well-equipped and had everything we needed to feel comfortable throughout our stay.We especially loved being able to walk to grab coffee in the mornings and enjoyed renting a boat for the day, which made our trip even more memorable. Everything was convenient, relaxing, and exactly as described.Overall, this property had everything we were looking for, and we would gladly stay here again. Highly recommend! "

"The property is an awesome home with plenty of room for a large family gathering. It sits next to a National Forest along the coast of East Traverse Bay. Many wonderful family memories as we sat by the fire on the beach and watched the sunsets."

"This is a great location with a beautiful view of Elk Lake. Elk Rapids downtown is minutes away with shops, restaurants, and a grocery store. The lake house is newly renovated, clean, and has plenty of space for about 12-14. The host was quick to respond to any inquiries. We'd consider booking this again for a future trip."

"We had a wonderful stay in Elk Rapids. We’ve come every year for the past decade and this place was by far one of our favorites. The home offers a comfortable space for two families to stay with plenty of room on both levels. The home is walkable to the beach, the market and downtown. My favorite part of the home was the upper deck because it is cozy and surrounded by beautiful trees. Highly recommend!"

"Quiet, comfy and homey. The barn is really a cool place including a private deck. Honey thought of everything. The kitchen is well stocked, the place was super clean and easy to find. I’d rate 10 stars if I could. You will NOT be disappointed. we’ll definitely stay here again."
