"Sarah someone who has been in hospitality for over 30 years I wish that they did not do this because I don't do this I train people not to do this when checking in you never say the room number out loud. But the guy behind the desk no matter what it's just hell been on saying the number out loud. Now you say why does that matter. Well, if you're a single woman traveling by yourself. You don't want everyone to know what room number you're in. And I've always trained people for that. And I wish they would adopt that standard because as a choice hotel brand. They really should."
