« We spent the weekend in Winchester for my son's birthday and wanted to stay close to Twin Creeks Marina. This house was great... a 5 minute drive to the lake but still in a quiet wooded area. The house was the perfect size for our family of 4 and it was very tastefully renovated and decorated. We also were able to bring our small pup, which was great. Plenty of room for him to run around in the yard. Overall would highly recommend! »

« We had a great vacation!! The house was beautiful and there was plenty of room for two families. The dock was perfect for lounging by the lake while the covered portion was perfect for the smaller kids to be out of the sun. The only thing I will say is that the steps are something else. We have stayed at several houses on Tim's Ford with steep steps, but these are straight up with no plateaus and no hand rails. It was a little scary for the smaller kids, so just prepare for that. « Property inside was comfortable and well maintained. The neighborhood is average, and was reasonably quiet, even on a holiday weekend. The kitchen is generously stocked with dishes and utensils. The portable AC unit on the porch/sunroom was helpful on those stuffy mornings. Outside the yard was well kept, but the bushes and flowers were a bit overgrown. Owner acknowledged it was an ongoing work in progress. Overall, a very pleasant stay. We’ve stayed here twice now, and would consider it...

« Absolutely perfect for us. In town for a wedding. The house accomodated all 7 of use with ease. Very clean and well stocked has everything we needed. April was great and very easy to get in contact with. Close to town. Very nice place to stay. I would definitely book again! »

« We had a great overnight stay in this clean and chic guesthouse. It was situated on a spacious wooded lot with a blacktop driveway shared with the owner's beautiful home. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the double sinks in the bathroom and the electric fireplace in the bedroom. With a few added amenities like a spot to set luggage in the bedroom and a couple comfy chairs on the main level this stay would have been perfect. »

"Hôtel désuet. Climatisation d une autre époque. Ménage à revoir... À 120€ la nuit... Chambre qui ne sent pas bon (urine de chat? Humidité?) Je me suis faite avoir par les commentaires élogieux et la note de 4.2 sur maps. Nous cherchions à dormir à côté de la distillerie JACK DANIELS mais finalement la viste ne durant qu 1h30 et avec 6 petites dégustations, nous aurions dû chercher un hôtel dans une ville voisine. Lynchburg est un tres petit village sympathique mais à 18h les 2 ou 3 restos sont fermés et uniquement la superette DOLLAR est ouverte pour dépannage."
