"What's to like.., well, the view is still there if you get a room overlooking the water. There's that and that's pretty much it. I am sure 25 or 30 years ago this was a fine hotel. I'm equally sure that was the last time it was actually cleaned and kept up. I'm not slamming the employees, who were friendly and polite. But there's only so much they can do. It's the owners/ managers that have cut so many corners to maximize profits I suppose. The cleaning staff only gives everything the once over. Probably only allowed so many minutes per unit. Don't look closely at anything anywhere. The surrounding grounds aren't cleaned too often. The back patio is a total mess, tables and chairs askew and left that way for days. The landscaping is all dying out, nobody tending to it at all that I could see. But I suppose you get what you pay for, and we should have spent a little more. Next time we come to Hot Springs, we'll stay just one night in a little nicer hotel instead of two nights here. But.., if you're on a tight budget like we were, well I guess I should complain so much..."

"I only have 3 minor issues. Every room we stayed in shower curtains were not cleaned properly. The couches need to be replaced. Last but not least all the TV's need to be smart TV's. At least let me sign in my accounts and watch my shows.. But my overall stay was very good. This is my 4th stay with Sunbay. We will be back. Love the view and the place is directly on the highway. They have Thick good towels. Its a good spot for children."

"I loved the grounds and the tent/room was really neat. I loved having a hot tub on the deck but I felt very exposed. There is no covering around the deck and not even trees to block. At one point there was drone flying above me and a dog from a neighbor tried to get in the hot tub with me. It would be nice if the hot tub area was more private and maybe enclosed. "
