Will likely never return to a Hilton property after this experience, which felt more like a Motel 6. Main lobby smelled perpetually like fish (and not in a pleasant, beach way). Parking was a cluster to deal with (I was charged for days I did not use and I was discouraged from using valet service), and we experienced a near perpetual wait for elevators per the 4 days we were there.
Our bathroom had a curved shower rod that was falling out of the walls and therefore creating a “U”, so the shower curtain would not close at either end and kept falling to the middle. Ridiculous. Despite calling the front desk the problem was never rectified. Wallpaper was also peeling off the wall near the shower from water damage, so this was obviously a problem that housekeeping or staff chose to ignore continually.
Location was good but that’s the best thing I can say; if you’re looking for an even remotely luxe experience look elsewhere. We had other family members staying next door at the Hampton Inn (also a Hilton property) and the difference in accommodations between the two properties was negligible; same box with a different wrapper.
