Nipissing Ridge Vacation Packages

The positives: Clean bed, linens and overall general upkeep was good. The negatives: Some standard items that I would have expected were missing. There was no full length mirror in the room to double check your outfit before heading out. I also didn't an ironing board or iron but this might be available at the front desk, I didn't ask as I didn't need it. There was no coffee maker or kettle in the room. 2 bottles of water were provided and a mini fridge. The staff mentioned there was a Tims up the road, but I usually make my own coffee, even bringing my own press, but I still need a kettle. Safety: The entry door features a single lock with just a twist knob between you and anyone driving by the highway. No secondary deadbolt or sliding bolt was installed on the main door. As a single female this made me a bit nervous. All in all it wasn't terrible, as a clean bed is my biggest requirement and they fulfilled that, but I wouldn't stay again unless the safety concern was addressed.

This gem in Muskoka is a rare find!! The feel of "Old Muskoka" comes to mind as it's very quaint & charming!! The Team here is absolutely incredible!!! They are the BEST!! Thank you and I can't wait to come back with my partner in the fall & possibly New Year's. We will stay at a charming cottage on the property called Robinwood!! Our stay was amazing for a weekend getaway. The property is perfectly located to enjoy all Bala has to offer. The inn is lovely, beautifully decorated and the rooms are spacious and well appointed. Having a fridge in your room is a nice addition. Kim and Doug are great hosts, we really enjoyed our porch chats. Thanks for a great visit.

the cabin was OK. Deck and floors could have been Cleaner. Lake was peaceful, but was unhappy about the dock not being accesible for fishing. cabin should have been spayed for spiders and ants.

I booked this hotel for a getaway for my son and I specifically because it advertised as having an outdoor pool and the weather was beautiful. Upon arrival, I was incredibly disappointed to find out the pool was closed. To make matters worse, each person at the front desk had a different excuse (the pump was broken, they were waiting on an inspection, it was my fault for not asking if they had an outdoor pool and my favourite "its a seasonal pool and July isnt the season we open the pool"). I had called prior to leaving to inquire if they had towel service at the pool and nothing was mentioned about it being closed. I requested to speak with the owner several times for compensation and had no response. Misleading guests with amenities that don't exist is deceptive. The hotel had a nice property but it was clear that the property was not maintained. The mini golf had not been cleaned in years and the hallways and rooms were not clean. We had to change rooms to the upper floor due to bugs. Speaking with several other guests outside in the courtyard, we had all felt misled. The website should have been updated regarding the pool as the water was so dirty and yellow you could tell it had been closed for a very long time. Its also beside rhe kods play area and full of mosquitos due to the stagnant water. I definitely do not recommend this hotel and will not be returning.
