Everything was awsome. The cabin looked so good and was so cozy. We enjoyed the fireplace it was a coldish night. There were no bugs anywere even though we found a considerable amount of spider webs on the walls which we were first concerned about. But didn't see any spiders during our stay. The kitchen was fully equipped. There was a coffee machine, microwave, oven, electric kettle, and cooking utensils. There was a barbecue outside which we got really excited about. I would suggest bringing barbecue meat and enjoy the barbecue. We had a good view of the lake. The surroundings of the cabin could have used a little more maintenance. We saw a fire pit outside but couldn't turn on a fire. I wish we could. The outside environment felt very abandoned, it was just us. I enjoyed the place being quiet and the fact that we had the place to ourselves, but it felt a little scary how abandoned it was. Overall, I would recommend for one night's stay. Bring a lot of snacks and make sure to use the barbecue.

Check in was easy. Received a text with all my needed information. The room was cold at first. The radiator was set to low. Took a few hours to warm up but we left the motel while that was happening. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable.

The pool area has mold, cobwebs, dehumidifiers caked with mold, pool floor needs cleaning, ceilings are moisture damaged and walls are peeling due to humidity/water damage. Rooms were gorgeous, very clean and the view was beautiful. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Especially Shay Lynn who helped us during check in. Bright, bubbly and makes you feel welcome. Coffee, toiletries and tea were restocked each day.
