8.6/10 Excellent! (55 reviews)
The positives: Clean bed, linens and overall general upkeep was good.
The negatives: Some standard items that I would have expected were missing. There was no full length mirror in the room to double check your outfit before heading out. I also didn't an ironing board or iron but this might be available at the front desk, I didn't ask as I didn't need it. There was no coffee maker or kettle in the room. 2 bottles of water were provided and a mini fridge. The staff mentioned there was a Tims up the road, but I usually make my own coffee, even bringing my own press, but I still need a kettle.
Safety: The entry door features a single lock with just a twist knob between you and anyone driving by the highway. No secondary deadbolt or sliding bolt was installed on the main door. As a single female this made me a bit nervous.
All in all it wasn't terrible, as a clean bed is my biggest requirement and they fulfilled that, but I wouldn't stay again unless the safety concern was addressed.

Location of the resort is great. The beach is not really a beach, more a like a seawall with a couple of entrances into the water on the side. Very few muskoka chairs that are taken by guests super quickly. A nice boat dock you can watch sunset from, that was really nice. We stayed in a room in the main building, so I cannot comment on the cabins. The room was clean, but super outdated. Old style cheap beds with a loud outdated AC, at night was loud. EARLY 10 am checkout is terrible. For the total price paid for it, it is not worth it. But if it was cheaper, yes it is a good choice. AND there are no jetski rentals! Even though a picture exists here in the listing.

We stayed in the big cottage with a view of the water. It was clean and tidy and the location was amazing. The air conditioning was very welcome, and the kitchen was useful. Beds/chairs/sofa were comfortable. The cottage is a little rickety, with a sloping floor. But it was a fun, nostalgic vibe. A bit pricey for what it was, in my opinion. Swimming off the shore/dock was very pleasant.

9.6/10 Exceptional! (31 reviews)
The site listed that there is onsite restaurant for breakfast, dinner and snacks . They site also lists that this is unique find because this property offers continental breakfast. None of that is true . The dinner at restaurant- reservation closes at 2pm and it’s an expensive buffet . No breakfast. They had croissants available for pick and go in a paper bag. Not even a comfy place to sit and peacefully eat. Nearest food place is in Huntsville which is 30 mins drive . Such a ridiculous false advertisement for a $450 night property . Such a shame that they advertise but don’t provide continental breakfast

"The room was clean and served its purpose. We did have a walkout to the hot tubs and pool which was super convenient and allowed a little escape after the kiddo goes to bed. It’s not a 5 star but the hospitality of the hotel staff compensated for this. Summer is an amazing time and I didn’t know ..."
