"Pros: The house is really comfortable, with everything somebody may need.The village is at a great location, near beautiful gorges for hiking,traditional villages and few kilometers from the sea.The view from the balcony is awesome. But the most important, is that the owners are really nice and polite people. We will visit this house again,for sure!"

"For the price paid the accommodation was very good, clean and larger than a Parisian hotel room. Towels were enough including the beach towel. The view is superb from the table in front of the door. The only miss was the coffe for the provided machine but the girl at the reception was helpful and the problem was solved."

"Wir hatten eine Suite mit Privatpool. Das Hotel liegt abseits von der Innenstadt, die man jedoch mit dem Bus im halben stündigen Abstand gut erreichen kann. Eine einzige Taverne ist fußläufig in der Nähe, wenn man auswärts essen möchte. Das Essen wird im Buffet angeboten. Das Personal ist immer nett und höflich, aber es gibt viel Personal was kein englisch, deutsch oder selbst griechisch sprechen kann. Die Verständigung war somit schwierig. Das Putzpersonal ist unfähig gewesen frische Handtücher...

"Amazing value. We hiked a gorge during the day and ended up down south so looked for a room in the area and found this with good reviews. Driving to it I had second thoughts. It was a bit further away than I thought and there was not much nice once we got off the main north/south road. As we turned into the facility my mood brightened. "This villa was all that it said and more. The owner left some food items for us until we could get to a grocery store. She was very easy to communicate with and answered all questions promptly. The housecleaner was there every few days to clean and change towels and take trash. It is a beautiful, unique and very comfortable place. We loved it, and would stay there again if we ever get back to Crete. "

"Wonderful location in a quiet and pleasant part of the island. Joanna was great with her communication and hospitality. The villa is clean and tidy with plenty of equipment needed for a stay. There are plenty of beach options nearby and the city is easy to reach where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. The pool at the villa is lovely, private and clean. The equipment provided around the pool is great quality. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms have great views down to the sea. The kitchen has plenty of equipment that is needed for a stay and the living area is nicely laid out. Outside there are plenty of places to sit and eat and a garden to explore. Highly recommended for those who want to get away from it all, but want to be close enough to civilisation when needed. "

"We had an amazing two week stay in the Myrtia Villa accomodated by the most amazing host George who went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed the most of our time. The villa is exactly as pictured and described and had all the necessary amenities for a family visit. It is located on a private driveway with plenty of parking in the heart of the village.The village is small but has plenty of character and the old town of Rethimno and the beaches of Petres and Episkopi are a short car or bus journey. We opted for the heating in the pool and it ensured we could enjoy it throughout the stay no matter the weather. This is a gem of a property and host and we will be recommending to family and friends if they wish to visit Crete. "

"Very lovely family that own it. The house and garden are very nice. You will need a car to stay here as it’s up so very steep hills but in a very beautiful location! Very easy check in as owner will meet you there to explain everything and answer any questions as well as check out process. Kitchen is quite a small space but you also have a bbq area outside which is lovely. Bedrooms all very nice and clean. We had a clean mid stay, we were expecting just basic clean but it was given a very good clean. We as a family have all agreed we would definitely stay again"
