"We had a wonderful stay at the 17th century mansion. It is obvious that a lot of love and time has been spent on the renovation. The house had numerous rooms for relaxing and a very large, well equipped kitchen. Some rooms were harder to heat, but most were very comfortable. There was a little mix up prior to check in regarding a security deposit needed at time of arrival, but we reached an agreement. The house was very convenient and there was parking very near by."

"Valerie and Jean-Michel made our stay 10x better than it already would have been. The house is gorgeous and the perfect spot for a long weekend in Champagne with 17 friends. The hosts were attentive and helped in organising a fantastic champagne tasting at a local vineyard & recommending local catering. "We were informed that we could not arrive before 4pm on Saturday as the property would be cleaned and prepared before this time. On arrival it was obvious that this was not the case. The entrance gate had rubbish bins overflowing with trash in 40 degrees heat. The front garden was overgrown with weeds. The back garden was full of stinging nettles and the lawn overgrown. On Sunday morning the owner arrived and mowed the lawn and cut the nettles back at 9am. The hot tub had flooded the room...

"This was just perfect for a much needed break. A warm welcome and a well equipped house. Spent most of the time sitting in the back garden admiring the view! Only one very slight comment about the wi-fi; signal is almost non-existent so even surfing is very slow, perfect if you are not in a hurry:) And yes, the bread machine allowed us to meet other people from this and surrounding villages at 8am, don't delay as it goes very fast!"

"We booked this hotel at the last moment on our way back home. What a fantastic place. The level of service was some of the best we had seen for ages. The quality of food deserves a Mechlin star or two. In particular, and I’m guessing he was the head waiter helped us both with the menu without being condescending. His suggestions were spot on. Yes it is a little expensive but you get what you pay for and much more. "
