Loved this stay. The air conditioned room was much appreciated after a long day out in the heat. Room was clean and very spacious. The staff was wonderful and even let us borrow towels to take down to the beach.

Charming boutique hotel. Breakfast in the lovely courtyard was great. Staff were easy to communicate with and were very friendly and accommodating. It's an older building so there's some wear and tear but it totally met our needs and expectations. It's in a great location, an easy walk to the beach and many other attractions.

I have so many good things to say about this hotel that I cannot write them all in this review. The staff were wonderful from start to finish, and even before check-in. I never usually purchase hotel breakfast, but I can truly say it is worth it here, as the selection they offer and the quality of the options is excellent. They will even bring breakfast up to your room each morning if you would like for no extra charge, or you can sit and eat in their nice and quiet garden. The rooms were fairly spacious and well equipped, and quite clean. The location was also quite central, and offered easy access to the train station, shopping, and the old town and promenade/beaches. They truly helped my wife and I have a great honeymoon, and we would happily stay here again next time we are in the area.

Staff was super friendly and accommodating. If you have a car, you need to put your hazards in and temporarily double park to drop off heavy bags, but plenty of parking lots nearby…reception guided us well on that. Breakfast at 20 euro was a great deal and excellent, and service was excellent. Just an 18 minute walk to the promenade.

If you are considering this place book it!!! It’s beautiful, the breakfast is delicious and the staff were impeccable! I’m from the southern USA, we are known for our hospitality, I have never been treated so well. If I have the pleasure of returning to Nice I will stay here again. It is both close to everything and far enough away to be beautiful and tranquil. You will not regret staying here!

Had a very lovely stay at Maison Lamartine. Perfect location in a residential area, was extremely quiet. Very convenient to public transportation. It's about 8 min to train station which is perfect for taking trains to other neighboring towns on the coast. 2 tram stations are close by as well. Felt very safe walking around; even at night. Staff was very accommodating and helpful giving us extra hangers and a full size ironing board. You receive a code to enter the building which makes you feel very safe. Only minor issue, there was not enough lighting in the room. One of the lights above the tv went out, we let them know and it was not replaced. Minor inconvenience. I would not hesitate to recommend Maison Lamartine.

A really wonderful place to stay in Nice.

This is a really special place. Other than the location, which was fantastic, and the breakfast, which was quite possibly the best i've had at any hotel, the people who run the hotel are wonderful - nothing is too much trouble. If we go back to Nice this is the place we'll be booking again.

Overall, our stay was good. Things we liked: helpful staff, secure and quiet location, having our own kitchen, central and walkable location. Things which could be improved: musty smell in the linen closet, water damage on the floor in the bedroom.
