The best time to visit Ngoma is during the dry season, which runs from May to October.During these months, the weather is generally clear and sunny, with cooler temperatures in the mornings and evenings. This is also when the Chobe River's water levels are at their lowest, causing animals to congregate around permanent water sources, making wildlife viewing more concentrated and easier. The dry conditions also mean fewer mosquitoes, which is a definite plus for comfort. This period is particularly well-suited for travellers keen on game drives and boat safaris. The reduced vegetation makes spotting animals like elephants, buffalo, and various antelope species much simpler, and you're more likely to see predators such as lions and leopards near the water.
