The owners (Cary and Caroline) are very communicative, friendly and helpful. The house was spotless and there were many nice touches by the owners including basic toiletries, snacks and toys for the kids which made our stay even better. The house is a short 10 minute drive to downtown Newport. The men enjoyed surfing at second beach which is an easy 15-20 min walk through the neighborhood. My favorite was the covered front porch where I enjoyed reading, with a cup of tea. The location was perfect; a peaceful, quiet neighborhood, short walk to the beach and only a 5 minute drive to downtown Newport! We loved the outdoor shower. The hosts, Caroline and Cary were very attentive, answered all our questions in a timely manner and helped us with recommendations to help make our stay fabulous. Cary and Caroline were wonderful hosts! We appreciated the welcome gift and bottle of wine and ease of entry into the property upon arrival. The property was pristine, very cozy and the best location right between first and second beach, cliff walk and downtown Newport. We enjoyed the use of the beach chairs, towels, and all the stocked items as a ‘starter’ from paper products, detergent, soaps and shampoos was very convenient as we did not have to run right out to the store to purchase.
