This property boasts a fully stocked kitchen, large dining area, living space, office, and outdoor deck overlooking all of the action, but also offers each individual guest privacy in their own spacious bedrooms equipped with TV's, mini splits and renovated ensuite bathrooms. Pelham St. is a perfect property for family gatherings, large groups or corporate entertaining. While we want our guests to enjoy their privacy, we are also readily available for anything you might need, from extra towels to dinner recommendations. Just send us a message or give us a call. We are here to help and hope you enjoy your stay! 29 Pelham Street is located in one of the most sought after locations in Newport on historic Pelham St. You are a five minute walk to famous Newport landmarks such as: Bannisters & Bowens Wharf, Trinity and St. Mary's Church and The Black Pearl Restaurant. Truly, you are in the heart of it all with dozens of restaurants, shops, bars and sights right outside your door. Hop in your car for a 10 minute drive to both the Ocean Drive and Bellevue Avenue Preservation Society Mansions. Windward Suites properties are all keyless, and instead use keypad smart locks for all of the doors for both the buildings and units. All guests will receive an email the morning of their arrival with the instructions, codes to the doors and Wifi. Super easy! Check-in time is anytime after 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Please be respectful of these times unless you have contacted us, as we have a cleaning crew who need the time to do a thorough job before and after all of our guests. Parking is located behind the building with two spaces alongside the building as well. There is one space allocated per room. 29 Pelham Street is a truly unique property. It is modern and fully updated Boutique Inn meaning, there are common areas which all guests have access to and can use at their leisure, including the living room, dining room, and kitchen, office, and deck. However, it also boasts six private bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathroom, as well as one two bedroom suite, also with an ensuite bathroom. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, some coming equipped with pull out sofa beds, and the renovated bathrooms all have glass walk-in showers. This is a dog friendly property with parking for seven cars. The entire building was recently upgraded to mini splits in each room. Cleanliness is our top priority as well as providing guests with high end linens, towels and toiletries. Unfortunately, we had numerous things go wrong with our stay. We rented the entire property for a large family gathering that included an elderly person. We had several issues that had a major impact on our use of the building: 1\. No heat in the entire upstairs, 4 bedrooms were unusable during our stay. 2\. There is a dangerous step in the kitchen that is not well marked that caused an elderly person in our group to fall. 3\. Little to no running water in the kitchen faucet. We had a large family and cooked in a lot. I brought all of these issues to the host's attention in an email on 11/20 and requested a portion of my stay be refunded. We rented the whole place for my sister’s bachelorette party. Most of the group had not been to Newport and, as New England girls, we could not have been prouder to show them this gorgeous city with such a phenomenal rental as our home base! The location renders cars and Ubers unnecessary because it is a half block from the door to the wharfs. We were central to everything which allowed the freedom for everyone to pop home as needed. The building itself allowed everyone their bedroom with private bathroom - enough said! Each room was spacious and bright with comfortable furniture and adorable views of the town. The full kitchen is a god send and the living room, which opens up to the dining room, allowed us all to lounge about together during downtime. We had all the amenities we could ever need and the host was available 24/7 to help with anything we could need. You can not beat the location. Just a minute or 2 walk down the hill to Thames street where all the shopping and food is at. Property was in excellent condition, like a boutique hotel. we were a group of 13 people from 20yo to some in their 60s. A great home base for everyone to break off and do their own thing and meet up in the living room/kitchen at the end of the day. Communication with the host was excellent. ##### Laura S.
