  • #walkingwithdinosaurs - its an incredible show to see. The dinosaurs are very real looking and the narrator takes you on the journey back into time where you feel you are there. (an fantastic learning experience). Worth viewing but it is expensive. Our advice - look out for hot deals. We managed to get half price tickets. I would also recommend for ages 6+ . Found younger children may find it a little scary and it can be loud.

An easy going friendly place to stay. On site dining was very good. Great coffee and breakfast options just outside. Driving easy and less than 15min to city beach and hospital.

The old world charm of the room was awesome. All the conveniences of air con, tv, clean towels daily and the hotel facilities downstairs. Loved our stay.

This is a nice budget lodging. The beds were comfortable, and the connected pub serves good food at reasonable prices (we ate there 3 times). The staff is very friendly. The only downside was that the kitchen area was being renovated and was not very nice.

A bit of a hidden gem

We needed a place to stopover for one night and this was perfect. Super value for money, it was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in! The room was lovely and we ate in the restaurant which was great with lots of choices. Would definitely recommend!

Check in was froendly and facilities well explained by staff. Excellent cleanliness. Lots of hot water in the showers. I had a small room but as a stopover enroute on a trip, it was great. No complaints at all.

Very nice facilities. Clean and updated. the staff member I dealt with was very good. Only negative for me was the steep stairs going up to the rooms. And the lack of shower curtains and bench space to put my clothes in the bathroom.

Service was great from the team but the amenities not so much. It was hard to get past the smell from the hallway and there was a slight smell in the room. I believe it was a little overpriced for what was provided, especially when one of the white towels had a giant yellow stain on it. Even though the room wasn't up to scratch the service I received from the team more than made up for it

We booked Nags Hotel as we needed somewhere close to the Racecourse. It is a nice quiet hotel. The room was small but for the price was great for 1 night. When we came down for dinner the restaurant and pub was packed out. We went out to see what was close by but they were all takeaway places. We eventually found a small table back at the Pub. The food was lovely but a long wait time. The staff are all happy and helpful. Showers and toilets are shared. There are steep stairs up to the Hotel Rooms.
