"I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Slemon Park and Conference Centre, and I must say, it was a lovely experience. The building itself, with its history as an old Canadian Army base added a nostalgic touch that you don’t find in newer places. Our room was reasonably priced for the area, and it served as a perfect retreat for a good night's sleep after a day of exploring. What truly stood out during our stay was the staff, especially Kim at the front desk. She was absolutely fantastic! Kim was attentive and really made us feel welcome. She took the time to understand what we were looking for and offered some great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. Thanks to her, our anniversary trip turned out to be even more special. Overall, if you’re looking for a cozy, well-priced spot with wonderful staff, I highly recommend Slemon Park and Conference Centre. It truly made our stay memorable!"

"The staff was great and we loved the location right near the water. The only issue was that the air conditioning went out right before we checked in, so the room got pretty warm. But the staff got us a big standing fan that helped cool the room until the a/c was fixed."

"The place is a bit old but super clean. We only stayed one night so didn’t get to cook, but even the basic room had a little kitchenette with dishes and cookware, which was nice. The Cavendish Information Centre is right across the street, and Green Gables and the Oceanview Lookout are both just a short walk away."

"The bed is comfortable, a real king bed, the wifi work well and fast, it has a warm little feel with the wooden roof, it has a private patio and the only one in the whole motel, it's great, the lady at the office is very kind and polite, I would definitely go back. I recommend it."
