Lovely Small Hotel
Really nice atmosphere in this hotel and very good evening meal in the restaurant. I bet it’s lovely sitting on the outdoor terrace overlooking the lake on a sunny evening. Shame it was raining when we were there!

Comfy but a bit noisy
The room was clean, spacious and the bed super comfortable. The only down sides were that the front desk lady was a bit rude during checkin and later on her and a cook were shouting about another colleague of theirs and I could hear it all the way up to the bedroom - not super professional. Plus I could easily hear the guests in nearby rooms.

Basic and clean
A very basic hotel with fairly small rooms. Breakfast was basic yet satisfactory. Close to the train station and has on street free parking. The night was EXTREMELY NOISY, as drunk guests made a hassle at 2AM, and the police that was called onsite made a lot of noise at 3AM. My complaints to the front desk were met with a bland "yes we know".

Great hotel with parking and amazing views
Well placed hotel that has amazing views over the lake/city - parking was a little confusing at first as you need to park on street in paid parking bays and run inside to get a sticker to put on your dashboard but otherwise easy enough. Room was a good size and beds comfortable. I didn't think the breakfast was worth the extra 15CHF it cost, however this was in line with other hotels in Switzerland

Very convenient location right by the station. Minutes to walk to city center, buses, train, funicular. Beautiful view. Corner rooms on the street side have both station and lake view. Courteous staff. Room decor and furniture are a bit outdated. Beds need updating, too low and slim single layer mattress. I would rebook.

Good value, quiet, enjoyed the views over the lake and the town, lovely staff, and really nice patio restaurant. Climbing up after visiting the Old Town resulted in a bit of panting, but not much.

This hotel looks better from the outside as the indoor facilities are a bit outdated. The rooms are simple, but there's nothing that stands out, either on the positive or negative side of things. The hotel's location is convenient but if I would have to stay for a couple of nights, then I would go for the better rooms or look for something else in the city.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. The hotel offers free passes for museums, public transportation across the canton, access to other public venues. What I could suggest is adding mosquito nets at the windows.

Very nice location next to train station. Beautiful view over the lake. Old, very well maintained and preserved building. Good quality breakfast food but buffet is limited in its diversity.

A nice hotel. Good value for money
The hotel has great location, close to the train station and the city centre. The double room is a bit small. I got a view to the lake so the room was very quiet. I was happy with my choice.

Quite nice hotel just by train station
Well situated. Quiet. Small town: easy to walk everywhere. Included parking was very useful for us. Breakfast is affordable by Swiss standards and gives nice view. Only thing is that it was super hot during our stay and they don't have air conditionning (few Swiss hotels do).

This was, in a way, unfair, as the trip was unexpected and my time was therefore short and focused. That said, I found the staff friendly, professional, efficient, accommodating, and the hotel location could not have been better for my purpose. Weather permitting, make sure to have a meal or at least a drink on the veranda - the view is spectacular and the ambience relaxed and friendly!

Nice place, watch out for extra charges.
Hotel charged us extra six Sfrancs, and on credit card pmnt surprise extra currency conversion charge. Only one night stay, Watch out for extra charges! Hotel has a large set of steps to climb, one must haul bags up and down these steps at front entrance. No ramp. Elevator inside is good.
