"This guy offers 25 refunds for 5 star reviews after your stay... That alone makes me not want to give him a 5 star. Take a step back into the era where you visited grandma. All the old chairs, smells, and bedding from late 1980's fill this home and give back childhood memories. It was clean, decent beds, and very livable. But absolutely no modern era amenities. The TV was about 25". Internet is GREAT for working on laptops. You are allowed ONE trash bag for a week and there's no secure place outside to store the trash (he suggested we take it to the dump a couple cities over if we had more trash).The road the house is on is to the local mining company pit and semi dump trucks will go up and down the road at 50 mph from 8 am to 8 pm daily! The house was clean and comfy, I would stay there again if I had too. But we visted Gaston again last week and got an amazing little cabin for a lower cost, better amenities, and much friendlier rules. After you pay, this guy will send you an 8 page list of rules and threats about dog hair, feet on furniture, and all kinds of stuff. I should have canceled after his insane threats of talk about paying his kids medical bills from a dog hair encounter. Who in their right mind would allow pats (for a fee) if their kid was deathly allergic? Instead, we just asked for the dog rent refund and left our dog at home with the dog sitter. This guy's rules and oddities are just a bit overboard for such on old furnished house."
