"This property was exactly what we needed. We had plenty of space for our family of four and while there were other units, there was enough space for us to keep some privacy while we utilized the pool area. "The place is Naxos was wonderful. It was a vert short drive to the supermarket, the beach and the local towns. The view was amazing. Our host Vicky was wonderful, she shared many links to various places in the area, she was easily assessable if needed and came each morning to provide us a wonderful breakfast. We only spent two nights there before we moved on to our next destination. Could have definitely spent a longer time on Naxos - Perhaps Next Time!"

"Just got back from a week in Naxos ( October 25 ) the place was incredible. From the ferry we took the local bus (2.30 euros) and drop off 25 feet from the Hotel. Ocean view. The staff was so accommodating, and the Spa treatment was sensational. breakfast buffet was very generous and stayed open till 11 AM. Meals at the hotel were a little more expensive but more refined than the local restaurants. When we left, most of the restaurants were closing down for the season. "

The only knock against them is the long walk to the beach (which they have a shuttle for during the day, but i really wish they had a shuttle back around dinner time or into the night hours). Easy to walk into town by beach or through the streets, the beach is on your doorstep if you want to swim in the sea and there is also a lovely pool at the hotel. Close to a bus stop if you want to venture over to the bigger beaches south of Naxos Town. We came for three nights and then changed our holiday plans so we could return for a further three nights. Naxos is the best island and we say Alkyoni is the best hotel."
