We had some problems with the internet, but the local contact was extremely responsive and helpful. We were given a small refund for our trouble with the internet, which we appreciated. « Excellent views and location. It was larger than expected based on the photos. Ideally situated in Mendocino. The whole town is walkable from here. A short walk to the steps (behind the church) to the beach. Excellent restaurants nearby (Trillium! GoodLife!). Walking distance to the grocery store and health food store. Short drive to beautiful hikes (Russian Gulch State Park) and kayaking. Highly recommend. »

« We had a great stay and would stay again! The location is amazing, the house was just as great with a few quirks (definitely not deal breakers for us). The claw tub was a bit of a challenge to fill (use the shower head), the wooden bed frame way too squeaky for two people rolling over (had my son sleep in there), slider door in the tv room doesn’t lock that well. None of this affected our trip and it was wonderful, the grounds are beautiful and the bluff was not a concern for us and our kids...

« This is the perfect place to stay just outside the town of Mendocino if you’re looking for a serene escape under the redwoods and stars. Several hummingbird & butterfly friends swoop down to say hello as you rest in the hot tub or sip a beverage on the porch. "Très bon accueil à notre arrivée. L’hôtel est très bien entretenu. Notre chambre était impeccable : propre, bien décorée, avec tout le nécessaire pour un séjour confortable (frigo, micro-ondes) à disposition. Le Wi-Fi fonctionne très bien.
