« ⭐ 1-Star Review I have stayed at this hotel four times because it is conveniently located near Kiptopeke State Park, and I have always found the property to be clean. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was very disappointing, mainly because of the way I was treated by the front-desk employee. When I arrived to check in, I introduced myself and explained that I had booked three rooms. He told me that I had actually booked four. « I DO NOT recommend anyone stay at this establishment. When I returned for the day and turned on the lights roaches scattered across the floor. Roaches were even in the bed. I left and they would not give a refund for the nights I paid for. »

« A tiny cottage… yes it was, but very nicely maintained, clean, comfortable and oh so Peaceful! So beautifully quiet at night. A bon fire each night when I was there. Welcoming for my dogs. The owner was so friendly… very nice …personable to speak with. I did enjoy my stay. Very relaxing. Minutes to downtown Cape Charles. »

« If you're looking for a budget friendly option -- especially a dog friendly one -- that's within easy walking distance to the wharf, shops, and restaurants in Onancock then this is a great choice. The space is really meant for 2 people as it is small, but the owners did a great job of making good use of space to provide several amenities. »
