About this property

Family Nashville house with rooftop fire pit, grill & sleeps 12

  • Summary:

This fall, gather the whole family under string lights on a private rooftop with a grill, fire pit, and dining table, just minutes from Germantown's restaurant row. Booked here on VRBO, this Nashville house sleeps 12 across 4 bedrooms, including a bunk-style room with two queen beds, giving multiple families or generations room to spread out without losing the togetherness of one kitchen and one rooftop.

    • Rooftop deck, sleeps 12: grill, fire pit, dining table, and lounge seating for evenings outside

    • 4 bedrooms, 6 beds: a king, a queen, a bunk-style room with 2 queen beds, and a room with 2 full beds so nobody sleeps on a couch

    • 4 full bathrooms, including Jack & Jill and en-suite options: no morning line for a house full of kids and adults

    • Chef's kitchen: marble island with seating for four plus full-size appliances

    • Getting-ready bedroom: dresser and full-length mirror, handy before a family outing

    • Smart TVs in multiple bedrooms: everyone gets their own screen at night

    • Fold-out chairs in the living room: extra sleeping space for a late arrival

    • Germantown location: minutes from Jack's Bar-B-Que and Monell's

    The Space:

This Nashville house was built around one thing: the rooftop. A grill, fire pit, dining table, and lounge seating turn the top level into the spot where the whole family ends up, string lights and all once the sun goes down. It is the kind of layout that makes VRBO groups come back trip after trip.

Downstairs, an open living room with a gray sectional and yellow armchairs flows into a kitchen anchored by a marble island with seating for four, so whoever is cooking never gets left out of the conversation.

Spend the afternoon grilling up top, watch the skyline turn gold as the fire pit takes over, then head down for a movie on the living room TV before everyone splits off to their own bed, including the kids who will claim the bunk-style room with its own Smart TV.

One bedroom doubles as a getting-ready spot with a dresser and full-length mirror, useful for the whole family before heading out for the day, and with four bedrooms and four full bathrooms, including a Jack & Jill setup for the bunk room, nobody has to trade privacy for togetherness on a longer trip.

This house sits in Germantown, one of Nashville's most walkable historic districts and home to some of the city's best barbecue and Southern cooking. Grab a plate at Jack's Bar-B-Que or Monell's, both a short drive away, or catch a game near First Horizon Park and the ballpark district that anchors the neighborhood. It's a part of town that stays lively without the Broadway crowds, giving families easy access to downtown Nashville while keeping the rooftop feel quiet enough to actually unwind on

Rideshare pickup is simple right from the house, and downtown Nashville and Broadway are a quick drive away for anyone heading out for the night. The Germantown location keeps the family close to restaurants and ballpark-area activities without the downtown crowds

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, location, listing accuracy
Property didn’t look like the photos when it came to the furniture it was nasty and the roof top was HORRIBLE!!! The grill I’m sure had t been clean in 2 years and it was extremely filthy!!! I’m a chef and that grill on the rooftop was one of the reasons I picked this location. So me being unable to entertain properly for my daughter’s college graduation was unacceptable. Steve kept making me aware that someone would come through to take care of the nastiness several times but no one did
