"Nice clean room with patio door where you can bring in your suitcases. Breakfast was simple, but good. I would recommend extending the breakfast hours until 9:30 or 10. 9 o'clock is a bit early to close the kitchen and pick up all the food. Great location! Work is being done on the property. Once completed, it will be nice."

"Very lovely old home. But as far as I could tell there was only one employee. Absolutely no one else to be seen anywhere. She checks you in, She is the only waitress there to serve you dinner. No one is anywhere to be found if you come down at 7 AM. I hope she doesn't also have to clean the rooms and remake the beds. She is very nice and I certainly hope she is being paid enough - because it looks like she has to do it all. Whoever makes the beds doesn't know how to make them because I had to redo it. In fact it was so sloppy I was afraid that the sheets were never changed and that I was sleeping in a bed that someone else had slept in. Otherwise, it is a charming old Victorian. The restaurant food was very basic but good."

"The cabin was perfect - great location, great beds, easy parking, wonderful contact with Mae, and you could see that a lot of time and thought had gone into picking all of the special decor, great appliances, and as I said - best beds! This is like a getaway heaven! Definitely one of the nicest cottages I've ever stayed in"
