Our second time in a 2BR. Love the units and location.
First trip we were treated very well. Employees were great. This trip there was something different. Since the last visit, the restaurant is now controlled by an outside entity whose employees don't care about hotel guests as much as their patrons. Guests seem to be a second thought. Can't sign to your room at the restaurant. There is not enough parking. I was told to valet if we could not find a spot. When I did this, both the valet, (who works for the restaurant, not the hotel) AND the front desk personnel told me I was misinformed. The shuttle drivers didn't seem to care as much. One night we walked over a mile back after being told to wait where we were. Later he told us he was too full and going to be done for the night. Also, the complimentary chairs and umbrellas are likely the same ones from 3 years earlier. Dirty and broken. No umbrellas available but for one day. A cheap small one that they dug out of a corner. I was also told that there was poolside service. In the two hours I was by the pool on Saturday, I saw one woman help three guests. Never asked if we needed anything even when I tried to get her attention. They need to decide if they want to be a hotel or a restaurant. Oh, and I paid over $600/night PLUS fees for this wonderful experience. (That said, there were two or three employees there who really seemed to be busting their butts and make things right when they saw failure.)
