"I thought Best Westerns were hotels not motels when booking, so was not what I expected when I got to the property. The shower drain was insufficient for the amount of water coming out of the shower head so the tub backed up. Overall just a bunch of small things that each individually wouldn't be a problem but were so numerous that I would not stay at this property again."

" I spent alot of time choosing this hotel for our 3 day DC trip. I booked the junior suite for myself and daughter and the pictures on line did not match the room. The room however was comfortable and clean but I expected what I saw on-line. The breakfast was very good but we received a check each morning for the free breakfast along with a pen. So the check said zero but they wanted the tip.....Of course I left a tip each day but it was weird to get a check with the free buffet. The girl named GiGi at front desk was very pleasant and she is a star at your hotel. There was a very large group of young teens staying at hotel and trying to go in elevator was difficult but when I finally got on the teens were seeing how many of them could fit in one elevator and we were so squeezed in it was terrifying. Not the fault of the hotel obviously, but wish whichever adults were with them had a bit more supervision as they disrupted the lobby for other guests. Beds were wonderful and extremely comfortable! "

"Everything was nice except the pool not being opened. My daughter and I stayed for 2 days and the pool was closed for “cleaning”."

"Pur room was clean and spacious. My couch was old and the pull-out was uncomfortable. Great shampoo and bay wash by Zero, no conditioner offered, though. Welcoming pool and well-appointed gym with laundry room. Breakfast was standard. It was good enough for our two mornings, could get boring after two mornings. The surrounding areas were clean. Due to the busy weekend and limited housekeepers the garbage pails always seemed to be full. The coffee in the lobby is a nice offering, but chilled water would be a great addition. The employees I interacyed withbay the front desk were very pleasant, especially Mary. "

"Room we had was 707. The good points were the bed was comfortable though the pillows were comfy they were small size decorating pillows but had 4. Staff were all excellent and the breakfasts were well stocked and several choices. The dinning staff attendant was organized and super friendly and inviting. The rooms have been updated at some point but was poorly done. Here are areas that made me give only 3 stars, Trim and walls needing attention. Corners need a good cleaning. (Drives me nuts when cleaning staff do not clean behind bathroom doors) our TV was pixelated and would glitch out. Was super annoying so we watched movie on ipad only to find out the internet password expired and had to call down to get new password. No big deal but just another inconvenience mounting. The microwave cart it dated and pretty beat up looking adding to the overall room look needing attention. Close to alot of things and metro super convenient to get to along with other transportation. The price was good and i wasn’t expecting 5star but i have paid the same for other hotels and had a better room condition. The friendly staff at least made up for some short falls "
