Can come and go without bothering anyone. Kitchen has pans and dishes for use. The beds were amazing, also has dishwasher and laundry. Our hosts were extremely responsive and hospitable, and left us all of the basic necessities like coffee and fresh cream, soaps and detergents. The suite is a good size and beds were extremely comfortable. There was zero comparison in terms of the value of what we paid for this amazing stay. My one caution is if you are not used to children’s noises (playing, crying) and are very sensitive to noise, since the family lives upstairs with young ones. We heard sound only occasionally, never overnight, and it didn’t bother us at all (we were also travelling with our toddler). This place was simply perfect for our family of 6\. It was 12 minutes from the ferry in Nanaimo, it had a BBQ, a backyard for the kids to play in, it was near a ton of great parks, and the views were spectacular. The only complaint I really have it sometimes you could hear the owners above, they had a small child and you could hear the stomping and crying. Property owner was incredibly nice but only one of them spoke English! Otherwise it was truly an incredible experience and I would come back here again.
