"Such friendly staff, very relaxed vibe. There is a seven 11 acros the road, great super heap Thai food right beside and the most spectacular beach club beside that (you can walk home up the beach). Beach is really lovely for a swim or snorkel. The pool is great, rooms are huge, universal electrical sockets too! We LOVED our stay and can’t wait to return. "

"A little bit of a walk from the busiest part (10-15 min) but I don't like being right in the thick of it. Walkable to the ferries (15min). Comfortable room and very clean. It was nice having a pool to have a late afternoon dip after going around. "

"Friendly staff who helped us with sorting out visa extension, motorbike rental and taxis. Cosy hut which was perfect for a couple and seconds way from the beach, pool and restaurant. The food in restaurant was amazing and very well priced. Could eat there everyday. In all, very very good value for money. Would stay for longer next time. (stayed for 3 nights). Would definitely recommend staying here. "

"An amazingly large room and bathroom - pool was fabulous!! Staff were great and everything was very clean and well designed. There is an on-site spa where we had what wonderful massages and facials. The restaurant is on the beach so there were really lovely views too. I would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"We booked the most expensive beach front bungalow for 2nights. The setting was beautiful but unfortunately we decided to cut out stay short. When we arrived we were taken to our room and found all 3 beds to have stained sheets, hairs and bugs.. we approached the receptionist who had checked us in and asked for the sheets to be changed, she was grumpy and snappy and asked us to wait until the next day to get the sheets changed, we politely refused and said we wouldn't be comfortable sleeping in the soiled sheets. She reluctantly sent staff to clean the sheets and didn't apologise, we felt really uncomfortable with how she dealt with us as we don't like to complain. The sheets were changed but the new sheets were also stained - not as much but still large yellow stains and blood stains were present. Also some bugs which I suppose is the nature of a beach stay but we were concerned about the possibility of bed bugs after reading previous reviews... The next morning I tried to shower and there was little water coming from the shower and I counted 10 bites on my body, obviously this could have been from mosquitos outside of the property but we decided to cut our losses and find somewhere else to stay. Upon check out we were greeted by a different receptionist - Sandra, she couldn't have been nicer she was so apologetic and shocked by our concerns, she contacted her manager and sorted out a refund for our stay, if only we had of dealt with her at check in!! "

"This is a really nice laid back beach resort, I had a beachfront bungalow which was awesome and very reasonable. it's a few kms out of town so transport is needed, I'd hired a scooter from town. "
