Total relaxation and we'll needed downtime. The staff at this were wonderful and welcoming. The area was beautiful, the hotel looks out onto sweeping mountain landscape. We enjoyed the indoor onsen and slept soundly in our traditional accommodations. The food was very impressive, so carefully presented and delicious. We ate breakfast and dinner here but also tried some restaurants with walking distance that did not disappoint. A remarkable experience, thank you for your hospitality.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. Staying in Koyasan was the highlight of our trip to Japan from Canada and it didn’t disappointment! The grounds are cared for, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are nice and comfortable. The location is great as everything is within walking distance but you aren’t on the main road. 10/10!

This hotel was easily one of the best hotels we stayed in Japan. The hotel rooms have a proper ryokan feel and the hotel staff are the nicest people I have came across in Japan. We didn’t even ask them for a shuttle pick up from our bus stop but a car with a driver was already there They provide free shuttle to and fro Sukurai station which I wish I knew from before.
