"This is a perfectly good hotel, however, there were some limitations for westerners. What we thought was a swimming pool was part of a gender specific onsen, limited to nude bathing only, which I was not into. If you care about looks, the decoration of the hotel was very much “done on the cheap”. The mustard yellow recycled polyester carpet looked liked it was laid in 1974 and not 2024. "Walking distance from Dotonbori, there is a seven eleven right beside, and a 10 minute walk from public transportation. Which if you have big luggage can be a challenge. The street in the morning looks like the next day of a hangover but it's because of the location. We found lots of places to eat around the are and the hotel room is small but comfortable. The cleaning is a 9 of 10 we found some places a little dusty in our room most of the corners. Bit it was minimal."
