Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Naj Al Ahwal?
The best area to stay in Naj Al Ahwal is Montazah, particularly around the Montazah Palace Gardens.

Montazah is known for its beautiful coastline and the expansive Montazah Palace Gardens, which offer a delightful escape with walking paths, lush greenery, and views of the Mediterranean Sea. The area is home to several much-loved hotels, many of which provide direct beach access. It's a more relaxed setting compared to the bustling city centre of Alexandria, whilst still offering convenient access to local amenities.

For couples seeking a relaxing getaway, Montazah is an excellent choice. You can enjoy strolls through the gardens, dine at waterfront restaurants, and take advantage of hotels with private beaches and amenities like high-end fitness equipment and spa services.
When is the best time to go to Naj Al Ahwal?
The best time to visit Naj Al Ahwal is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) months.

During these periods, the weather is pleasantly warm and sunny, with average temperatures ranging from 20°C to 28°C. This makes it ideal for exploring the outdoor attractions and enjoying the coastline without the intense heat of summer or the cooler, sometimes rainy, days of winter. You'll find it comfortable for sightseeing and relaxing.

For those looking to enjoy the beaches and water activities, the shoulder seasons of late spring and early autumn are particularly good. The sea temperatures are inviting, great for swimming and other water sports.
