We gotcha Beach-oceanside, only steps from uncrowded beautiful beach "Shirl's Shores" is a 4 Bedroom, 2 bath classic beach bungalow, arranged with 2 bedrooms/1 bath on each side separated by a large open central living area. It is perfect for 1 or 2 families. SHIRL'S SHORES IS A 7 DAY, MINIMUM, SATURDAY TO SATURDAY ROTATION. Sleeps 8, with queen beds in 3 bedrooms and 2 twins in the 4th. This cottage has been owned by the same family since 1980 and has been enjoyed as a vacation site by many families and fishermen over the years. Previously, rented through a local agency, we manage it directly (retired and full time residents of Nags Head). We want you to enjoy a true beach experience. The location is ideal for beachcombers and nature lovers. (Milepost 21)-the southern side of S. Nags Head-close to the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. Considering the ideal location, the rates are truly value priced. In keeping with the goal of "economy pricing", linens are not standard. Guests would bring their own sheets (3 queens, 2 twins) & towels. Bedspreads, pillows, blankets, and mattress pads are provided. Communication is excellent. The house floor plan is great: open living room/kitchen/eat in island. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are on one side of the house and another two bedrooms and a bathroom on the other side. The kitchen has been recently updated with new cabinets and countertops - so pretty. It's a short stroll to the beach. The neighborhood is family/pet friendly. Restaurants and shopping is about 10 - 15 minutes away. The town of Duck is a little farther away but worth the trip to find all of the shops and bookstores. The beach was not busy when we visited during prime season. We were also close enough to the protected seashore areas that we could explore away from all of the more crowded areas. Becky (the owner's daughter) was incredibly nice and very willing to help when we had a minor issue. The house was clean and well laid out. The outdoor shower was clean and so nice to have. We stayed in the cottage for a week and it could not have been more perfect for us . The location is extremely convenient , away from all the hustle & bustle but just close enough if you needed to go anywhere for anything . Walking distance to the ocean which was great ! Shirl's Shores was perfect! Location was a short walk to the beach. Close to shopping for gifts and groceries. Plenty of room for 4 adults and our pets. Plenty of walking paths. The trip to see the wild horses on the beach at Corolla was wonderful. The weather was cool and windy but it didn't stop us enjoying OBX! The bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen stocked with what we needed to prepare our meals, no problems with wifi. Communication with owners and checkin was smooth. Neighborhood was quiet. I recommend Shirl's Shores to any family looking for a comfortable place to spend a week at OBX. We are already planning our trip for next year. ##### BRENDA O.
