Great alternative to the resorts on Denarau Island at 1/4 the cost. Taxi rides to the marina and Buka bus were only $20 fjd and you have full access to every beach. Rooms were spacious and while the grounds could be maintained a little better, the staff was amazing and they really worked hard to make sure I had everything that I needed. The owner invited me and my friend to an amazing bbq the last night I was there and he was really an amazing chef!

This review is not biased in any direction. We are simply stating our observations with things we liked or did not like about the property our subjective opinion on those. The property is well maintained has a nice curb appeal. The rooms are clean and match the photos and have a modern and contemporary look, but the beds are hard and very cheap We did not use the pool facility as we checked in later in the day around 6 PM. I must point out, You will NOT receive the warm and friendly Fiji welcome or hospitality At this resort. All of the instructions at the front desk and throughout the facility are in Chinese with very limited English translation. The front desk agent was very clinical in checking us in and rather unwelcoming, however the local Fiji help staff were typical of the happy Bula life and were pleasant. The restaurant did not operate with fixed hours for dinner, but rather by pre-arranged meal planning (who knew?!) Our room adjacent to the kitchen, so the loud echoing noise from the kitchen staff early in the morning was a surprise to us. We only used this as an over-night stop after a full day in Nadi before setting out for Yasawa. Would we stay here again for the same purpose? NO, still after knowing this we will choose a place closer to restaurants and markets; AND with the Fijian hospitality. Also, communication with resort was frustrating. Many calls placed to resort went unanswered; emails take 2-3 days to reply without addressing our needs.

There’s a reason there are no reviews of this hotel—it’s almost exclusively Chinese. My sense is that it’s used by Chinese tour groups, so when a solo American showed up, they seemed a little confused. While the location is pretty central on the map, I was surprised to find that it was very isolated. There’s nothing around it. The restaurant was closed when I was there, and so I was stuck eating hot pot ramen I bought at the front desk. The evening receptionist was lovely and helpful, but when I went to check out in the morning, the whole place was empty. I was lucky I had booked a taxi the night before. Happily, the room was clean, new-ish, and perfectly comfortable. But if you’re looking for a place convenient to other things in Nadi, or a place with a good vibe, this is not it.
