Mystery Spot Tours and Activities

Nothing unique about this place. It was next to a Best Western, both owned by same person/persons. Ours was worst of the two, right next to each other. Across large parking lot. We could use pool in better one and breakfast was in better one, but had to go over there to use it. Started out with toilet seat loose and had to have them tighten it, mount bolts were hard to reach. A small sink was plugged up, they got it unplugged when they fixed toilet seat. Found two roaches in bathroom on 2nd. to last day. Room heater barely worked. Entry area by door had crumbling stone around door. No real blankets just light coverlet. Light blanket brought after asking. Employees were non-committal when told about problems and never got and apology for anything. Will never go there again. Do not recommend it my worst enemy ! Skip it by all means. Highly disappointed. Furniture was threadbare too. Hard to say anything good about it.

Great place to stay and have fun

The hotel has gone way downhill since my last stay years ago. It used to be the nicest place to stay in the area. It is now mainly used for Gov employees who are working on the new lock and DNR officers. A/c did not work in our room and the central air unit wouldn’t shut off. We had to open the windows because it was so hot in there. I would think twice about staying here as a visitor/tourist.
