"The staff were friendly. It's an old building but very clean. There is whimsy everywhere you turn, which keeps me coming back. The only issue that I've ever had is that the pillows are flat."

"This place was amazing. The river view was spectacular. The home is beautifully decorated, clean and has everything you need to have a wonderful stay. We were looking for a relaxing weekend and that is exactly what we got. I would highly recommend. The garage parking was a bonus! Especially for unpacking and packing up the car during a storm!"

"This is an old Motel 8. If I knew that I wouldn’t have booked it. It doesn’t have a sign, so it’s difficult to find. I would pay a few dollars more to stay somewhere else. The desk person came out to the front desk in her pajamas when I went to ask for a do not disturb sign at 8am. "

We stayed in early spring before the native plants were really going but I bet it is really popping in summer. Plus the host was very responsive. You could stay there for a long time reading all the books on the shelves. "
