We stayed at Hotel Santis for Oktoberfest, and it was great. Located within walking distance to transit and had food options nearby. Clean hotel and good breakfast.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice comfortable room and great breakfast. Excellent bar/restaurant next door (Krambambuli) which is part of the hotel. Easy walk (5-10 minutes) to Holzapfelkreuth U-Bahn station (line U6) and from there it's a short journey to Marienplatz.

European Vacation
Very nice hotel. The staff let us check in 2 hours early and gave good advise on dinner recommendations and the public transit system. The morning breakfast was more than adequate and the staff were friendly and attentive. The U Bahn station was about a 6 minute walk and easy to negotiate.

The staff is very friendly and supportive. The guy serving at the breakfast is super friendly and welcoming. I didn’t like the fact that they don’t have enough toiletries.

Great location not far from U6. Easy in and out of the city. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room small but clean. Parking available but limited and tight. Very nice breakfast.

Good location. Outstanding breakfast. A tad expensive but then this was oktoberfest time and all the hotels are outrageous for that two or three week period.

Some of the Staff were amazing, but it wasn't consistent with the rest. One staff during breakfast provided the greatest service in our whole entire vacation. Breakfast food was above average. Cleanliness of the room was disappointing; there were dead bees on the floor. There were bees and mosquitos at night, too. There was no A/C. I saw that review before, but I thought they would be more proactive in providing fans. No such luck. I'm glad our second segment of vacation in Paris was exponentially better (as far as hotel) than this, which made up for our disappointment. Price not worth it. I do not recommend.

Dear guest, we appreciate your honest feedback. Unfortunately we couldn't make your stay at our hotel as comfortable as we would have liked to. We are sorry for that! As it is prohibited by law to hunt bees in Germany in order to protect them, it sometimes happens that they come in the rooms through a window left open. They use to live in a nearby garden and follow the lights of the rooms if switched on. Kind regards

The room was not air-conditioned so it was a little uncomfortable because it was hot the week we were there. It was not in an ideal location although I knew that before I reserve there so that's not the hotel's fault

Good hotel in a convenient location
In Munich for a couple of days. Room was small but clean and functional. Staff were professional and courteous at all times. Location. Was ideal with 15mins u bahn ride to central munich.

Good for a single traveler
Hotel Santis was great for me--a single traveler. The room was small but had enough room for everything. My biggest complaint is that my room smelled heavily like perfume the entire stay. The breakfast was good, although small, and the staff was very friendly. The staff speaks English quite well, so I was able to communicate with them easily. The area around the hotel isn't anything fancy; there's not much around, but it's quite easy to get to central Munich.

Hotel was very nice. Limited parking for vehicles though. Also, somewhat noisy, mainly due to it being Oktoberfest and some guests enjoyed the festivities too much (basically had people yelling, banging on the walls and doors at 2AM). Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. Local restaurant was excellent (under the hotel).

A pleasant stay
Service was great from beginning to end. Smaller hotel in a quieter area of Munich (outside of regular tourist hot-spots), but easy to get to Marienplatz, etc. via the subway. Desk service was very pleasant, room was very clean, and buffet breakfast was a nice bonus (and better selection than your typical continental-style breakfasts in the US).

Pros: charming hotel, friendly staff, free parking, free wifi and free breakfast... it was a nice continental breakfast. 4 miles from the old town. Cons: I am glad that we came in September because no AC... My room (Room 30) was too small, the luggage took over the room. But I noticed thst room 31 is big.

Nice quiet, clean, modern hotel
The entrance to the hotel and reception are all very nice. Our room was a bit smaller than traditional US hotels but completely comfortable with regards to storage space. The bed was great! I wish there was AC but keeping the window open from the top at night provided the right amount of air and it was still secure. Nice, safe neighborhood and not far from the subway. They also have a very good restaurant downstairs.

Great hotel for the price outside the center
The interesting part of our stay here was the arrival to a room which hadn't been cleaned. Staff was friendly! They apologized immediately and gave us a different, clean room on the third floor (which wasn't as updated as the initial, not yet cleaned room). The included breakfast as great. This hotel offered free parking, which we were looking for. The parking area can accommodate perhaps 8 vehicles. Not an issue the first night, but on our second night we were lucky to grab one of the last spots. Less things to do in walking distance (not much for restaurants, etc.), but we were able to drive to the center in less than 15 minutes each day.

please contact your Expedia Office where you booked. We are not allowed to print invoices for bookings with "Expedia collecT" as you have already paid directly to Expedia and got an invoice from them.

Terrible service, and the full bed room was made up of two child sized beds that could not be moved. They were attached vertically to the wall. Hotel reception could care less. They asked for another 200 usd to upgrade us to a non child sized room.

dear guest, as you booked a economy twin bed room, please read carefully the description of the room - and not only the price! all bed - if it is a single or a twin bed economy room have a size of 200cm x 90 cm - which is a normal size and not only for childs!

One night in Munich
We were just stop over night on our way to Salzburg. Hotel was nice, close to city and quit neighborhood . Had a very nice breakfast. Temp was mid 20 up to 30 so it was bit uncomfortable inside the room till early morning. Free Wifi pass word only for one device. Didn't had tea or coffee facilities in room could get some hot water from down stairs , may be its normal in here not like Australia.

Excellent location. Hotel had free parking in the rear although we got the last spot; not sure what would have happened otherwise. Room was very nice and comfy, with great wifi; although you need to request a separate code for each device that connects and the code cannot be used for two devices at one time. Only problem was when we opened the windows a very nasty sewage smell came in. Neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe.

Nice hotel
Spent 4 nights during Oktoberfest, hotel few minutes away from U underground metro, in a quiet neighborhood, nearby supermarket , staff is friendly, elevator was out of order for 3 days, breakfast is good.

Good location for University
I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting a customer at the University. All the staff here are extremely friendly and helpful and most speak English. I arrived early but was still allowed to check in for my room. I had a single room which had a small toilet/ shower en-suite. Everything was very clean and kept so through out my stay. The breakfast is a cold buffet but there is plenty there to please all tastes. It is a little way out of town but quite close to the University. There is a bus stop outside and to get to the underground is about a 5 minute walk. They have a small secure car park behind. Downstairs there is a restaurant where at the time of writing they gave discount to residents of the hotel between 5pm and 8pm. Assuming the location suits I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

What?
First off, aside from one lady, the entire staff was awesome! But this one lady when i first arrived said, "Let me see if your room is ready" ok no problem, she comes back and she is now like " i will have to move you to another room." I think to my self ok? So i go up to my room and it is essentially a converted janitors closet, take out the shelves put in a bed and a desk and a bathroom smaller than you find in an RV. So i go back down and she said, "You can always pay more to go to a bigger room." Now the other part to this is the room/closet door is right next to, the elevator where everyone seems to hang out especially after the hotel staff goes home at night. Right on the other side of this door is the head of the bed, then you have a small walkway maybe 12" between the wall and the bed to get by to go to the rest room and the window. Thankfully the bed wasn't that long as my feet would hang off at night and I'm only 5'9" and it's the stereo typical thin single bed most of Europe uses. I find the free Wifi a little ridiculous, it works great but they make you go to the front desk to get a new login and password after so much time which is annoying but only an issue when the front desk closes at night and you are still up from your home time zone… I am glad I didn't spend much time in the room/closet as it was pretty uncomfortable.

Nice Hotel in the outskirts of Munich
This boutique hotel is outside the city central and not far from a subway station. We used the subway to travel into the center of Munich where we took bus excursions around the the city. The breakfast and our server were excellent!!! The hotel is quiet and there is a wonderful restaurant just downstairs and around the corner. There is parking in the rear of the hotel which is very helpful.

Wonderful place to enjoy a trip to Bavaria.
We scheduled eight nights in Oberammergau and were looking for acomodations that would be better for a stay of that length and the side trips we wanted to take. We booked the two bedroom apartment across the street from the hotel proper. It is merely yards from a train station, walking baths and the streets of Oberammergau. It was brand new and had the most spectacular views of the Ammer River, Oberammergau and the Laber mountain. The hotel beer garden was perfect in the afternoons and their breakfast is outstanding. The owners are friendly and very helpful and went out of their way to inform us of the local happenings that we might have missed otherwise.

Nice hotel and great staff
We stayed for 3 nights and took the subway into Munich each day. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast met all our needs in a nice setting. Our room was clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. Parking for the car was free and available in their lot or on the street. The neighborhood safe, grocery store nearby with the bus across the street and the subway a 5 minute walk. Walked to an Italian restaurant for dinner. I would recommend this hotel.
