"This hotel in a colonial style typical of East Africa was just a gem. We were given a nice room, large enough and with all we could wish for. The staff as all Tanzanians were just the friendliest and most helpful, going out of their way to make our stay a delay. We felt cared for and appreciated. "Great staff from front desk to employees. Nice to see that they now had a kitchen with good food. However, I still would not recommend this place. I can tell the staff work in fear of being fired by the owners girlfriend. The ownership treats the staff like garbage. Also when something goes wrong there is no sort of compensation. I have to shower at another place because the water turned brown (didn't think that's what I paid for). Also this is my 2nd stay here. I witnessed the owners...
